Common Streaky-Skipper (Celotes nessus)
One record has been reported by Edward Lambremont in his 1954 article in Tulane Studies in Zoology, Volume 1, number 10, April 30, 1954.  He said that he has not seen this species in Louisiana, but one was reported from Madison Parish by P. A. Glick in 1939.  It was caught in a trap being pulled by an airplane and the butterfly was apparently in rather ragged condition.  None has been seen in Louisiana since that time.  I don't have a photo of this species.
