Cobweb Skipper (Hesperia metea)

This species hasn't been seen in Louisiana in many years.  This is an early spring skipper and has one brood.  I have been to locations where it has been seen in the past where its host plant little bluestem grsss occurs, but haven't seen it and have no photos of it.  BAMONA does have records of this species in Natchitoches and Saint Helena Parishes.  This species is probably still presesnt in Louisiana, but hasn't been seen recently.
