Yellow Rail

Thornwell, Jefferson Davis Parish, LA, November 4, 2010.  The Yellow Rail is a very secretive bird.  This is the best photo that I have been able to get of one and this is the way you most often see them.  Notice the white on the trailing edge of the wing.
